Trees experience many storms-- rain, lightning, strong winds, and snow. Through their interconnected roots, sturdy-yet-flexible trunks, and branches that seek new sources of light, trees weather storms with resilience so they continue to contribute to the flourishing of the forest.
Like trees, we as teachers face our own storms every day: constant demands, shifting expectations, and the pressure to keep giving. Imagine an educational system where we could weather storms like trees– connected, flexible, and testing new growth, all while continuing to nourish growth and relationships with our students.
At Resilient Tree Coaching, we grow connected, flexible, open-hearted resilience, even amidst the storms, so we can continue to nurture flourishing for all students.

The changing educational climate can leave educators feeling uprooted.
Does this sound familiar?
-
You start the school year feeling hopeful, but find yourself slipping into burnout.
-
You feel like you’re fighting for scarce resources.
-
You find it hard to ask for help or articulate what you need.
-
When problems arise, you feel reactive and struggle to find a path forward.

We can't stop the storms from happening, but we can decide how to weather them.
At Resilient Tree Coaching, we grow resilience from the ground up. Together we root into purpose and connection, build sturdiness and flexibility during change, and open ourselves to new opportunities for growth-- even as we weather storms-- so we can continue our vital work of nurturing the flourishing of our students.

I’ve Weathered Some Storms
Hi, I’m Krista.
I help educators weather the storms of education with resilience, so they can contribute to the flourishing of their students.
In my decade of classroom experience, I weathered many storms and changes:
-
new curriculum
-
changing team dynamics
-
personal health challenges
-
shifts in leadership
-
family transitions
-
setting personal boundaries
-
understanding my purpose as a teacher
I didn't grow my resilience once these storms had passed-- I grew my resilience through them. I believe that you can grow your resilience too, even as you weather storms.
I use my training through Bright Morning Consulting, my experience in various roles in education, and my habit of collecting bits of wisdom from a variety of sources to come alongside you and guide you through the storm. We'll inspect your roots, grow your trunk, and open your branches, so you can become a resilient tree.

We can't stop storms from happening, but we can choose how we weather them-- together.
